Legal Disclaimer

Disclaimer of Liability

1. Content of the online offering
The author does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Claims for liability against the author, which refer to damages of a material or non-material kind caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or the use of mistaken or incomplete information, are excluded as a matter of principle, should no demonstrable deliberate or grossly negligent culpability be available on the author’s behalf. All offers are subject to alteration and are non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change parts of pages or the entire offering without any specific notification and to add, delete or to temporarily or permanently cease publication.

2. References and links
By direct or indirect references to external internet pages (links), which lie outside the field of responsibility of the author, liability is only assumed in the case of the author being aware of the contents and technically capable of prohibiting the use of any illegal contents when reasonable to do so. The author hereby expressly declares that at the time of placing the link no illegal contents were noticeable on the site linked to. The author has no influence at all on the current and future design, the contents or the authorship of the sites linked to. Therefore the author hereby expressly disassociates from all contents on all sites linked to in which changes are made after the link is placed. This statement applies to all links and references made within the author’s own internet offering along with external entries into guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists hosted by the author. For illegal, incorrect or incomplete contents and in particular for damages that arise from the use or non-use from such information provided, solely the host of the site that is linked to is liable, and not those who merely link to the particular publications.

3. Copyright and trademark law
The author strives to respect the copyright of graphics, audio documents, video clips and texts used, to use graphics, audio documents, video clips and texts the author itself has made or to use graphics, audio documents, video clips and texts in the public domain.
All brands and trademarks that appear in the author’s internet offering and are protected by third parties are subject in full to the terms of the relevant trademark law and the right of ownership as applied to the registered owner in each case. The mere mention of such trademarks should not justify a conclusion that these trademarks are not protected by third parties! The copyright for material created by and published by the author remains solely with the author of the pages. Any reproduction or use of such graphics, audio documents, video clips or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express permission of the author.

4. Data protection
As far as the possibility is provided within the internet offering for the input of personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses), the input of this data takes place on an express voluntary basis on behalf of the user. The usage of and payment for all services offered is – as long as it is technically possible and reasonable – permitted without the input of such data or with the input of anonymised data or a pseudonym.

5. Legal validity of this disclaimer
This disclaimer of liability is to be considered as part of the internet offering from which you were linked to this page. If parts or individual phrases of this text do not, no longer or do not fully correspond to the applicable law, the remaining parts of the document remain unaffected in their content and their validity.

6. Access data/server log files
The host (or its webspace provider) collects data on every visit to the internet offering (in so-called server log files). This access data includes:
Name of the website visited, file, date and time of the visit, volume of data transmitted, a report on a successful visit, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the page previously visited), IP address and the accessing provider.
The host uses the log data only for statistical evaluation for operational purposes, for security and for improving the offering. The host retains the right though to subsequently search through the log data if there are concrete indications to support a reasonable suspicion of illegal use.

7. Processing of personal data
Personal data is information that allows for a person to be identified and thereby includes details that can be used to track a person. This includes names, email addresses and telephone numbers. Data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or which websites a person has visited are also considered to be personal data.
Personal data is only collected by the host, used and distributed when this is legally permitted or the user has consented to the data collection.

8. Contact
In contacting the host (for instance via a contact form or by email) the details of a user will be saved for the purpose of processing the request and also for the case that follow-up questions arise.

9. Integration of services and content of third parties
It can be the case that within this online offering, contents from third parties, for example videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are imbedded. This always requires that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as the ‘third party providers’) note the IP addresses of the users.
Without the IP address, these contents cannot be sent to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore essential for the viewing of these contents. We make every effort to use only such contents in which the respective providers only use the IP addresses for sending the contents. We have no influence, however, in cases of third party providers saving IP addresses e.g. for statistical purposes. When we are aware of this, we will clarify this to users.

10. Cookies
Cookies are small files that enable specific information related to the access device of the user (PC, smartphone or similar) to be saved to the device. They serve, on the one hand, to aid the user friendliness of websites and thereby the users (e.g. saving of log-in data). On the other hand, they serve to capture statistical data on website use and analyse this for the purpose of improving the offering. The users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers possess an option that restricts or completely blocks the saving of cookies. It is noted, however, that the use and in particular the comfort of usage is restricted without cookies. You can manage a lot of online cookie notifications from companies via the US site or the EU site

11. Retractions, changes, corrections and updates
The user has the right to receive, on application, free information on the personal data that is saved about him or her. Additionally, the user has the right to amend incorrect information, block and delete their personal data as long as that does not compromise any legal obligation to retain information.

12. Miscellaneous
If parts or individual phrases of this text do not, no longer or do not fully correspond to the applicable law, the remaining parts of the document remain unaffected in their content and their validity.
